Contact analysis and research of large blade bearing based on FEA stiffness matrix

  • In order to research the contact load and in the raceway surface of the large blade bearing, the 3D software UG was firstly used to create the model of blade bearing, blade root and hub, the stiffness matrix of each part was generated by finite element analysis (FEA) software, and the entire model was established by importing the stiffness matrix into Ansys. Secondly, the steel ball was simulated by link element, by abstracting the loads acted on the ball for raceway contact analysis, the pressure between raceway and ball was acquired. Finally, the maximum pressure was got using the loading superposition method. Compared to the classical theoretical calculation formula, the correctness of the FEA model and method were verified. The method provides a theoretical design basis for the blade bearing safety and reliability, and also offers the basis for fatigue analysis and optimization.
